SouthMed CV takes part in a workshop about artistic network projects in the Mediterranean

The workshop ”Artistic network projects in the Mediterranean area: reality and challenges” took place in the Instituto Goethe in Barcelona, on May 14th and 15th. SouthMed CV was one of the projects that were submitted within the framework of this workshop. The objective of SouthMed CV is to produce a multiplier effect and a long lasting impact of culture as a development factor in Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine and Tunisia. With this objective, SouthMed CV will hold two public calls for proposals to fund innovative cultural and artistic projects related to environmental, gender, diversity or social inclusion issues. Interarts leads the consortium of non-profit organisations responsible for developing SouthMedCV: BAC Art Center(Tunisia); Gudran, Association for Art and Development (Egypt); National Center for Culture and Arts (NCCA) / King Hussein Foundation(Jordan); Khayal, Cooperative Association for Arts and Education (Lebanon); German Commission for UNESCO. The initiative is co-funded by the European Union within the framework of the regional programme Med Culture.
